Cheyenne Village, Inc., a local 501(c)3 non-profit, has been providing residential and support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the Colorado Springs area for more than 50 years. Cheyenne Village, Inc. is largest provider of residential services to adults with IDD in the Colorado Springs areas. Cheyenne Village. Inc. is currently seeking qualified candidates for an HR Coordinator position. This position is responsible for administrative and support tasks related to all aspects of Human Resources including new hire orientation and onboarding, HR file maintenance, benefits enrollment, background checks, workers compensation, FMLA, disability and unemployment claims. This position will be primarily responsible for all records of employees and independent contractors provide backup for front desk coverage, when needed, take minutes for meetings as assigned, and assist the Director of Human Resources with special projects as needed.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field of Human Resources, knowledge of ADP or similar HR data entry platform, and knowledge of employee benefit plans and labor laws desirable. Must be a self-starter, detailed oriented, flexible and professional. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Working knowledge.
