Operate PBX telephone system, answering and routing calls appropriately for designated facilities in St. Vincent Health System (including St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center, St. Vincent Doctors Hospital, and St. Vincent Medical Center/North). Answer and respond appropriately to emergency alarms for St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center, St. Vincent Doctors Hospital, and St. Vincent Medical Center/North. Give locations, telephone numbers and other appropriate information to callers inquiring about clinics or other organizations affiliated with St. Vincent Health System.

Responsibilities
- Communicates appropriately with patients/physicians/public/employees.
- Consistently answers telephone calls promptly and courteously.
- Is knowledgeable of names, pager numbers and other information required for location of personnel.
- Assists patients and employees in making long distance calls; monitors WATS lines to ensure appropriate use for hospital business only.
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information as required by HIPAA regulations.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, Metropolitan Test or Equivalent.
- Experience: At least six months related experience.
$13.44 - $18.48 /hour
