As an International Intern at Chick-fil-A, you will contribute to our growth through challenging and meaningful work. You will build cross-cultural competency as you work on impactful projects, immerse yourself in our unique culture, and experience the city of Atlanta.
This is an 11-week position at Chick-fil-A’s Support Center in Atlanta, with an anticipated start date in May 2024.

Responsibilities
Each year, thousands of visitors, Chick-fil-A Operators, and Team Members visit Chick-fil-A’s corporate Support Center. The Campus Hospitality International Intern will have the opportunity to impact the guest experience by contributing in the following areas:
- Work on business management skills in a retail store environment (Chick-fil-A’s gift shop)
- Engage with guests and assist in day-to-day operations of the store
- Partner with Retail Coordinator on ordering inventory and the merchandising of the store
- Build relationships and leverage your business and project management skills in a real-life working environment
- Learn about a variety of Chick-fil-A processes, partner with different retail vendors, and identify opportunities within the store that will contribute to sales growth
- Contribute to end of month reports
- Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrate selling skills including, but not limited to, approaching, and acknowledging, identifying needs, suggesting, and closing, in order to promote sales and a positive experience for the customer
- Attend vendor and team planning meetings
- Collaborate with Hospitality Services to provide 2nd mile Service to Operators and Teams visiting the Support Center
- Assist Operators with registration needs, room reservations, event facilitation, and logistics coordination
- Serve as a Warm Welcome Host, Greet and Eat Host, and as a secondary point of contact on Mondays for visiting Operators and their Teams
- Establish and implement new creative ways to surprise and delight Operators and Teams celebrating Milestones
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate junior or senior returning to school Fall 2024 majoring in Business, Hospitality Management or other related major
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect well with others
- Professional and organized
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Chick-fil-A Team Member
- Interest in Hospitality or Retail
- Demonstrated creative problem solving, leadership, and strong communication skills through class projects, jobs, clubs, and/or internships
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
