Job Purpose
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing all catering orders at Chick-fil-A Rincon, ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and team members.
This role involves close collaboration with Chick-fil-A Rincon leadership to execute catering orders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Management :
- Call and confirm all catering orders the day prior to delivery.
- Create and implement preparation plans for executing all catering orders.
- Manage deferred ordering system to ensure that all orders are properly entered.
- Service Preparation :
- Prepare all service elements for catering orders, ensuring high-quality presentation and compliance with Chick-fil-A standards.
- Training and Development :
- Train delivery drivers on order execution and setup procedures.
- Assign delivery orders based on team availability and order requirements.
- Inventory and Tracking :
- Maintain a detailed tracking system for all TMS bags loaned out to ensure accountability and organization.
- Organize and manage catering inventory, ensuring all items are readily available and in good condition.
- Operational Support :
- Maintain a clean and organized catering room, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist in restaurant operations when catering orders are not active.
- Continuous Improvement :
- Demonstrate a passion for improving catering processes and overall business performance.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering management or a similar role is a plus.
- Clean driving record with a valid state driver's license.
- Familiarity with Chick-fil-A Delivery Management system or similar software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with catering.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and order.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and embodiment of our culture of CARE.
- Willingness to grow, accept accountability, and handle feedback.
- Meet all standard Team Member qualifications.
