Position Summary:
The Domestic Violence (DV) Case Manager, a victim's advocate, provides direct services to adult victims of DV involved with the State of Delaware’s child protective services, Division of Family Services. The DV Case Manager provides victim safety planning, crisis intervention, information & referrals, and access to emergency financial assistance. The position requires extensive knowledge of gender-based violence both in theory and practice as the incumbent provides consultation to child protective workers.

Education, Skills, Experience, and Other Requirements or Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences field required and at least one year of work with victims of gender-based violence
- Applies the VAWA standards of confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds with a variety of needs
- Work hours are mostly M-F 8:30am-4:30pm with occasional evening work required
- Willingness to work in the field and occasionally use personal vehicle to drive clients
- Ability to work in an atmosphere of high stress with child protective professionals
*Bilingual Spanish-English preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
