Purpose of this position:
Children’s Service Center is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well collectively as a treatment team member. If you are a health professional that is ambitious and has compassion to help lead child and adult patients care, the Wellness Nurse position is right for you. You will be trained to become knowledgeable with community resources and health care practices. This position has traditional working hours and will report to the Medication Clinic Supervisor or designee.
- This position's Primary Office will be located in Wilkes-Barre, with travel to the Tunkhannock office at times.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Promote and coordinate integrated care
- Linking the consumers physical health and mental health
- Leading the coordination of integration for the clients treatment through all levels of care at CSC/RCC

Qualifications:
Approved school nursing program or baccalaureate of higher degree in nursing and state licensed to practice
Two years of experience providing direct clinical services to adults with mental illness is preferred, but not required
- Newly licensed candidates will be considered after comprehensive review of training, experience, and demonstrated competence
Medical experience, experience with adults and metal health experience preferred, but not required
Must pass Safe Crisis Management Training (physical and theory), upon hire and then annually as a condition of employment. Other requirements include:
- Driver’s License
- FBI Act 73
- Criminal History
- Act 33 Clearances
