POSITION SUMMARY
The Teen Program tutor reports to the Youth Program Coordinator and schedules/provides students with tutoring needed to prepare them for college entry exams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist high school students in preparing for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
· Provide diversified, guided activities that supplement learning goals for students as needed, in support of the SAT practices and exam.
· Work together with other staff to lead small group discussions and workshops on selected topics germane to the SAT process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
· Current college student required with a college graduate preferred.
· Experience in working or volunteering with youth a plus.
Skills/Knowledge:
· Fluency in spoken and written English required with a Mandarin/simplified Chinese preferred.
· Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and online web search.
· Good communication skills with youth and parents required.
· Basic end-user level understanding and experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Physical Demands:
· Mainly work in classroom involving prolonged periods of sitting, walking and standing.
Environment and Scheduling:
· Work is performed during Agency business hours.
· Must be flexible and available to work alternate hours when necessary.
· Work is performed mainly indoors but occasionally out for field trips or meetings.
