Chip’s To Go Market is hiring for Store Associate positions for our convenience stores in the Baton Rouge area. We are looking for open-minded and enthusiastic team members to join us. Under the direction of the Store Manager or Shift Manager, the Store Associate is responsible for ensuring all customers have a Memorable shopping experience, maintaining impeccable store appearance, while providing fast service.
Responsibilities:
- Provides efficient, friendly and fast service to customers.
- Assists in inventory control through stocking and counting.
- Ability to address customer concerns in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Takes direction well and understands the importance of working at a fast pace
- Adheres to safety regulations and food safety standards.Requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Basic computer skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, reach, grab, climb and grasp for long periods of time with little to no breaks
- Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to refrain from social media and personal communication on electronic devices, during working hours is a must.
