Job Description
Chipset21 is looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to undertake tasks of installation, repair and maintenance in the home. We have a fleet of well maintained vehicles to take you to your job site. Your job will be similar to the following:
- Perform maintenance work in the home
- Install a variety of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, faucets, toilets, etc.
- Repair and replace broken or faulty physical fixtures such as doors, windows, walls etc.
- Install and maintain electrical systems (wiring and switches)
- Install new appliances and utensils for kitchen
- Undertake tasks of cleaning and vacuum maintenance
- Check and report on the state of appliances and ensure they are kept clean.
- Clean and organize rooms and other areas in the home.
- Provide clients with timely and adequate support in maintaining the home.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment problems to identify their source and determine needed repairs
- Estimate cost of repairs to ensure successful completion of work in the end
- Check equipment’s operation and report on its deficiencies promptly for repairs or replacements
- Maintain a fully stocked tool inventory and be able to call for help from other professionals when necessary
- Arrange for necessary purchases of materials and supplies to ensure that repairs are completed in the fastest possible time
- Communicate with client about future requirements and order supplies to meet them.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
