The Rooms Coordinator is responsible for inputting reservation information and business block information into our property management and central reservation system, ensuring guest preferences and information is detailed and correct. This position also supports Sales, Revenue, and Guest Services operations, in addition to:
- Handle in-house reservation inquiries & requests.
- Make reservations for recipients of donated gift certificates, repeat guests, and complimentary/special rate reservations received from management team.
- Assist front desk, guest services and reservations teams with property/room questions, room reservation extensions, room moves and billing questions.
- Create group specific booking links; act as liaison between group and central reservations.
- Input group rooming list and facilitate all rooming list changes and billing changes upon receipt from conference service coordinator assigned to the group.

Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum one year of front desk and/or reservations experience in luxury hospitality required.
- Proficiency in Windows based computer programs to include Outlook, MS Word and Excel required.
- Experience with group sales computer systems including Cendyn, Delphi, OPERA and Synxis preferred.
- Experience in a fast paced, detail oriented, customer service environment.
- Must possess positive presentation skills, and a strong motivation to provide legendary guest service skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays if and when necessary.
- Knowledge of hotel revenue management preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
