What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler II-2nd shift position position at Chipton Ross Inc.?
o Conduct assembly, wiring, alignments, and final configurations of components.
o Conduct Assembly work applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
o Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process
o Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions
o Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment
o Perform a wide variety of troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
o Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance
o Follow audit and safety guidelines
o Participate in continuous process improvement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred
o Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes preferred
o Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plus
o Previous assembly experience in a Clean Room environment is a plus
o Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Division-Specific Outlook and Access)
o Demonstrated ability in Efficiently working in a Team of 8-10 colleagues
o Ability to use appropriate PPE
o Ability to analyze and address problems independently as well as collaboratively
o Ability to support projects, perform training and work efficiently low volume as part of cohesive teams
o Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills
o Ability to lift-up to 35lbs
o Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language, and educational backgrounds
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time; 2nd Shift - Sun - Thurs from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM after a successful training on day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Mon thru Friday.
