Choc O Pain French Bakery is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to join the team! Founded by owner Clemence Danko, she opened her first Choc O Pain French Bakery in Hoboken in January 2012. Since 2012 we have grown from one location to four! Two in Jersey City: in the ever hip funky downtown Jersey City area & in the evolving Jersey City Heights! Two locations in Hoboken: Downtown & Uptown Hoboken in the Mile Square City of Frank Sinatra’s hometown!

Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional management experience
- Exceptional service and food knowledge
- Service training and development experience
- An understanding of Department of Health Food Safety Standards
- Budgeting

Working together with the Administrative Team: Owner, Director of Operations, Controller of Projects & Processes, Head Of Front of House, & Production Teams. Managers lead the team at Choc O Pain and manage all aspects of the Front of House operations of the store. We want our managers to provide guidance to build a better organization with the best management and team by continuously developing our food and service with a concentration on our teams and guests while providing one of a kind hospitality. This position requires flexibility and a broad scope of hospitality, service and business insight. Managers epitomize, encourage and instill know-how that will heighten the heart of our values.
- 4-5 Years FOH Full Service experience
- Minimum 1-2 years prior management experience preferred
• Ability to identify opportunities throughout the operation, leading with solutions and proposals • Superior organizational acumen, prioritizing time and tasks with optimum efficiency
- Full cycle project management: ability to plan, organize, direct and delegate, and follow through, holding team(s) accountable
- Superior communication skills (verbal/oral/listening)
- Proficiency with Restaurant Technologies and applications (Microsoft Office/POS/Avero)
- NYC DOHMH Food Protection Certificate holder
- Excellent Dining Room and Facilities Operations Knowledge
- Proficient in Restaurant Financial Knowledge (P&L /Budget/Food & Labor Costs)
- Understanding of HR Practices/Policies/Procedures Excellent Communication Skills (verbal/oral/listening
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $11.00 - $12.00/hour.
