The Opportunity:
Choice Builders is a small-volume design build firm located in Cedar City, Utah. We are growing and are looking to add a Residential Project Manager to our team of professionals. This position is approximately 70% in the office and 30% in the field. The position will prepare project specifications and selections in our cloud-based software, release, gather and assess bids from our trade partners, buy-out the project, and issue job-specific Purchase Orders to the trades. The Project Manager is directly responsible for the project budget, client communications, and assisting the Field Superintendent as needed. Additionally, the position will assist the project team in managing the project to a high level of quality while maintaining budget and schedule goals.
Responsibilities for our Project Manager are:
· Oversee all aspects of construction management ranging from project planning to client turnover.
· Assemble the project and selections from the company template and amend to fit each unique project.
· Prepare initial construction schedules using company templates.
· Release, gather, and analyze bids for proper scope and price.
· Buy-out the project by issuing Purchase Orders to the chosen trades.
· Work with our designer to ensure client selections are made timely, appropriate change orders are issued and invoiced properly, and the correct materials are ordered.
· Participate in project economic evaluations.
· Negotiate with trades to receive favorable pricing.
· Communicate daily using cell phones, texts, emails, and cloud-based systems.
· Ensure workmanship conforms to the approved plans, specifications, client selections, and company standards.
· Manage multiple concurrent projects.
· Visit every assigned job weekly
Qualifications for our Residential Construction Project Manager are:
· 2 years recent and relevant experience in construction management.

· Prefer locally established candidates with strong trade references, or a willingness to relocate to Cedar City, Utah.
· Must have competency with analysis, numeration, research, the use of spreadsheet and scheduling software.
· We are heavy technology users and you must be overall tech savvy. We use Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook, and you must be able to quickly learn and become adept in our software platforms., namely Buildertrend.
· Comfortable integrating cell phones, tablets, and other technology into daily work habits
· Be able to demonstrate above average written and oral communication skills.
· The ability to work well in a team environment is essential for this position.
· Strong and confident leadership, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
· Proven trade management experience.

Salary:
- $50-65k/year, commensurate with experience
- Plus $5,000-$15,000 per year Profit Sharing, distributed quarterly
