What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Program Coordinator position at Choices Are For Everyone, Inc?

CAFE has been serving children since 1998. We are seeking someone to oversee our Section 28 children’s program. You will be responsible for writing and ensuring implementation of each child’s treatment plan and for supervising all CAFE Behavioral Health Professionals [BHPs] who provide support to children served by CAFE.

Job Functions:

Receive initial referrals and complete Comprehensive Assessments with each child’s team.

Maintain ongoing contact with DHHS.

Compile referral information and write Individual Treatment Plans for every child initially and bi-annually thereafter.

Collect and enter data rom treatment plan and write Quarterly Report for each child.

Enter Reportable Events into EIS.

Coordinate with child’s team to ensure consistency and continuity of plans, protocols, IEP meetings, and other pertinent program components.

Recruit, interview, hire, and match up children with appropriate BHPs.

Train BHPs with each new child.

Schedule and supervise all BHP-child scenarios.

Attend all relevant meetings [DHHS, parents, guardians, medical professionals, schools]

Research and organize community opportunities.

Distribute programmatic petty cash.

Adhere to all DHHS and CAFE standards.

Other self directed or assigned functions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field and at least two years related experience; or

Licensed Masters Social Worker conditional (LMSW-C), a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), psychologist, physician, or advanced practice registered nurse; or

Clean criminal, driving, Adult Protective, and Child Protective records.

Reliable transportation.

Experience working with children [BHP].

Experience supervising staff.
