The range for this role is $62,000 - $85,000

Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 10% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.

States we employ in: AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MO, NC, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV. In order for your candidacy to be considered, you must have established residency in one of these states or being willing to relocate. If you live within 50 miles of either the Melbourne, FL or Colorado Springs, CO office, you would be expected to work onsite 3 days per week. Ability to travel to events frequently is a must.

The Job

Manages the strategy and planning of activities, and oversees staff responsible for coordinating and organizing meetings and special events and of various sizes. Plans logistics and negotiates contract(s) for conferences, and/or events, with respect to budgets, speakers, entertainment, transportation, facilities, technology, equipment, logistical requirements, printing, food and beverage, and other related issues. Negotiates terms and fees, and executes and administers multiple contracts with facilities, vendors, speakers, entertainers, etc., for service, in accordance with budget constraints and company policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy and Execution
    • Plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of conferences and events, ensuring they run smoothly and achieve their objectives
    • Oversee the entire event lifecycle, from initial planning to post-event evaluation.
  • Vendor Management
    • Identify, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors to ensure high-quality services at optimal costs.
    • Maintain positive, productive relationships with all vendors and partners.
  • Travel Coordination
    • Manage all aspects of travel for staff attending conferences and events, including booking, itineraries, and accommodations.
    • Ensure adherence to travel policies and budgets.
  • Budget Management
    • Create and manage budgets for each event, ensuring all costs are tracked and stay within allocated amounts.
    • Provide regular financial reports to the executive team on event expenses and ROI.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and outreach teams to ensure brand consistency and effective promotional activities at events.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to any support staff or volunteers involved in event-related activities.
  • Evaluation and Reporting
    • Gather feedback from attendees, staff, and other stakeholders to continually improve our event presence.
    • Analyze the success of each event in terms of attendance, engagement, and other KPIs.
  • Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefs
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in corporate event planning and management.
  • Proven experience managing vendors, contracts, and budgets.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job has supervisory responsibilities: you will be expected to supervise 1-2 Event Coordinators
