What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant - Part-Time position at Christie Clinic?
Christie Clinic’s Marketing and Public Relations Department is seeking a part-time(24 hours/week) Marketing Assistant on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. The Marketing Department includes a Marketing & Public Relations Manager, a Marketing & Community Relations Liaison and a Marketing Assistant.
The Marketing Assistant provides administrative support to the marketing department in executing marketing functions for the clinic i.e. public relations activities, events, ordering or supplies, management of promotional items. The Marketing Assistant collaborates with the marketing team and Christie Clinic team members to execute these marketing programs. Additional marketing responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
A collaborative partner, the marketing assistant is a self-starter who is proactive, highly organized, able to manage multiple projects with hard deadlines and a loyal brand ambassador. The position is responsible for the order and delivery of final marketing materials to various departments, supporting marketing and various departments at events and health fairs, and project management/administration of the department.
Typical Physical Demands
Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching and lifting up to 25 pounds. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required.
Typical Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office environment and involves frequent contact with all levels of staff and the public. Requirements include the ability to drive a motor vehicle and to work irregular hours.

Maintaining and updating online marketing channels, including internal and external websites, vendor webstores, etc.Monitoring our inventories (office supplies, promotional items) to ensure supplies are always available; partner with promotional item vendor or research new/replacement items.Assist the Marketing & PR Manager and the Marketing & Community Relations Manager with various tasks as needed including provider onboarding, event management and scheduled media relationsAssist the Marketing & PR Manager in strategic marketing plan implementationAdditional duties as assigned.
