What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Lab Tech position at Chromascape Inc.?
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:
Quality Control
- Tests production batches for conformance to specifications and record results.
- Regularly calibrates lab equipment to ensure accuracy
- Maintains required documentation regarding product testing results
- Understands and utilizes QT9, abas, ERP software as directed
- Investigates customer complaints and partners with Quality Assurance Team and Laboratory associates to correct systemic quality process and product related issues.
- Along with other staff, responsible keeping lab equipment in clean and good working order.
- Communicate areas of concern/unfavorable test results in a professional and timely manner to all relevant associates

Play an active role on the continuous improvement team.
- Support initiatives, with use of lean principles/tools for process improvements.
- Make recommendations for improvements
Other Duties
- Ships pre-shipment COAs and co-shipment samples to customers or meeting other customer requirements.
- Provides internal samples to the Lab and Sales team as requested.
- Participates in required operational meetings and training sessions
- Any other duties as assigned.
