The Role
Chronus is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be part of a critical team that qualifies inbound and outbound leads to drive consistent pipeline for our sales team. As the first connection from Chronus to our potential customers, ideal SDRs excel at research, process, written and verbal communication, relationship-building and details. You should be a quick study who is passionate about making the workplace more equitable, innovative and inclusive through the power of technology and human connection. You should also be willing to put yourself out there (over and over) to position the Chronus solution effectively.
Responsibilities
- Secure high-quality meetings with senior executives each month to help drive the success of Chronus’ business through impactful conversations and consistent follow-through
- Successfully qualify prospects to understand if there’s a good fit between that organization’s needs and the value proposition of Chronus’s award-winning mentoring platform
- Research organizations in your target account list or our “ideal customer profile” before connecting to ensure more effective conversations that resonate
- Participate in the development of creative outbound campaigns via multiple communication channels to target prospects (e.g. phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and effectively hand off to sales reps
- Meticulously log your conversations with leads via Salesforce, including descriptive notes to enable successful handoffs to sales account reps
- Seek out feedback, participate in regular trainings and look for ways to continuously improve your own skills and help your teammates succeed as well
- Collaborate with your fellow SDRs as well as other teams within the organization to improve processes and increase the impact of the SDR team
REQUIRED Qualifications and Skills
- Sales or customer service experience not required but preferred
- Infectious enthusiasm and ability to effectively position a product or idea
- Technical aptitude to learn and understand our product
- Strong general project management, organizational, and time management skills with a track record of delivering on deadlines and exceeding goals
- Competence with Microsoft Office programs / tools and/or the G Suite of applications (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive, etc.) required
- Effective at working with a diverse, global team and client base at all levels of the organization
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Strong intellectual curiosity, tenacity and listening skills
- Highly coachable
- Ability to work well independently or in a group setting
- Fluent in English
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willing to travel periodically as needed
