Overview
Office Administrator position offers a variety of outlets to showcase your talents. This fast paced work environment requires the ability to prioritze tasks to ensure client needs are met. Office administrator includes answering phones, balancing petty cash, general office work, and so much more to keep you from being bored. The position is part time and flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Mailing letters (Stamps.com)
- Mailing small packages charging student accounts (Stamps.com, returning medications, computers, etc., home)
- Shipping via UPS charging to student accounts for discharging students and when room cleaning has been done-items sent home
- Managing Petty Cash (includes monthly reconciliation report, balanced to the penny receipts)
- Forwarding mail to former employees and students who used to live on campus (no auto forwarding is possible)
- Distributing mail across campus.
- Sending all insurance EOB's to UR Dept, Bakersfield (nearly daily)
- Making sure office supplies are ordered when needed
- Interacting with AP when invoices need to be paid, and AR when parents need to be billed-incidental charges sent monthly.
- Travel Money for students charging to student accounts-involves keeping up continually on travel plan.
- Includes contacting parents to remind to pay for checked bags for each visit
- Working with Executive Director on Int'l Trips, meeting payment deadlines for ticketing, facilitating name changes, etc. when necessary.
- Making sure consents are done by both parents, compiling travel books, doing travel money, managing trip details.
- Making a school calendar, two times a year. Co-ordinating with Corey and Krysten for dates, etc.
- Family Workshops - assist with schedules, nametags, folders, etc.
- Answering phones, directing calls to the right dept./person.
- Assist the school with ordering BYU classes for students and charging parents accordingly.

Benefits
This position is part time with under 30 hours per week and does not qualify for health benefits.
