POSITION OVERVIEW
The Inside Sales Manager role is responsible for the of CHT USA’s products and provides ongoing support to the customers. Travel is required.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Manages direct accounts to maintain and increase business volumes and profitability.
- Works with National Sales Manager to identify accounts that would benefit from transfer to an Outside Sales Manager.
- Follows up on assigned sales leads.
- Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
- Becomes actively involved in a new re-seller’s sales orientation and sales training programs.
- Attends trade shows if conveniently located.
- Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
- Keeps informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers.
- Checks and reports on competitive activity
- Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided.
- Answers questions from both direct customers and handles complaints.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
- Uses CRM to record information and tasks relating to existing and prospective customers.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university
- 3 years of similar field sales experience in a chemical manufacturing industry (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Capable of working independently to manage day-to-day tasks
- Advanced user type understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 & Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Familiarity with an ERP solution (i.e. SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, etc.)
- Creativity in approaching complex challenges and problems
- Customer/Client focused

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; written and oral communication
- Ability to handle a multitude of different situations; sometimes simultaneously
