As the Marketing Manager, Digital Media you will have a leading role in our acquisition and media team and be responsible for strategic media planning, media buying, execution, reporting, and optimization of digital campaigns. You will oversee all media buying with the support of both internal and agency buying partners. This Marketing Manager, Digital Media will ensure we are managing our media budgets and channels effectively as well as staying on the forefront of media trends. This is a performance marketing function and is tied directly to company growth goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead all planning, buying and optimization across all paid media channels including paid social, paid search, programmatic, CTV/OTT, linear TV, audio/podcast, and direct mail
- Lead all media testing and measurement efforts, including channel, tactic, and creative experimentation design and execution
- Stay up to date with the digital media landscape and ad tech, managing relationships with all 3rd parties to ensure we have the best partners and ad tech stack
- Manage our paid social planner and media agencies for paid search as well as other digital media
- Manage the media budget to maximize growth under the ROI and profit targets
- Build an effective partnership with our creative team to ensure creative development, testing, and insights are best in class
- Lead inbound media landing page and funnel testing and optimization initiatives
- Translate digital media and acquisition strategy into media planning execution and analysis
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly data analysis and insights
- Take over the primary responsibility of everything from media data to analytics and attribution systems
- Run/analyze all media tests and experimentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or equivalent work experience
- 6 years of experience within media planning
- Experience building projections and cost out’s
- Hands-on experience building and executing in Facebook ad manager, Google ad words
- Experience planning programmatic media and traditional media, billboards, print, direct mail, TV
- Ability to manipulate and analyze data
- Prior experience assembling strong media briefs and internal creative briefs
- Ability to optimize biddable campaigns
- Experience with budget optimization and channel optimization
- Prove experience with brand and DR campaigns
- Growth mindset – goal oriented, iteration, testing, and improving quickly
- Extensive Facebook Ads Manager experience
- Extensive Google AdWords experience
- Demand-side platform (DSP) experience (direct buying or partner buying)
- Background in growth marketing, media strategy, performance marketing, or digital marketing
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Well-versed in ad serving, behavioral targeting, media, and analytics
