What you’ll be doing:
Service and renew customer accounts for Church Mutual companies within an assigned territory and support other account manager territories as directed. Conduct remote meetings to evaluate exposures, conduct customer renewal, and service presentations. Solicit referrals for new business. Evaluate exposures and round out customer accounts with appropriate supplemental coverage. Investigate and respond to customer inquiries. Interact with internal partners and stakeholders to service customers. Maintain customer database and process automated insurance transactions.
On any given day, you’ll:
• Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with assigned customers where division managers own the relationship on open territory.• Serve customers through email, phone, online presentations, and screen-share meetings.• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to manager and team.• Forecast and track key account metrics and overall division metrics for account managers.• Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.• Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.• Monitor and report on timeliness and status of customer focused tasks.• Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.• Liaise between the customer and internal teams.• Requesting Certificate(s) of Insurance (COIs) - help develop a streamlined process for all account managers in the division.• Helping with emails and calls when other account managers are on vacation.• Helping with simple endorsement and quote requests from the team.• Assist account managers by processing requests during otherwise wasted windshield time.• Manage a list of accounts coming up for conversion and ask basic questions like sign value, age of roofs, and any updates. Assist in creating a worklist for the other account managers.• Help with storm calls, when needed.• Assist with data management of existing accounts.• Through observation and interaction with account manager team, help to define best practices for the entire team.
Here’s what we expect
• Bachelor's degree or significant industry experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.• Must be computer literate using proprietary software and Microsoft Office.• Ability to understand customer structure and operation.• Able to work independently to specific performance standards and goals.• Strong written/verbal presentation and listening skills.• Demonstrated skills in relationship building, decision-making, negotiation, and communication.• Ability to apply basic math and drafting skills to create building replacement cost estimates and building perimeter diagrams.• Ability to understand, interpret, and explain various insurance policies.• Ability to learn and use proprietary software and Microsoft products and stay current with changes.
