Locate Support Coordinator
Remote position
Job Overview:
In this role, the desired candidate will express the ability to clearly and efficiently communicate and retrieve important information to update records. The ideal candidate will be a fast typist with a keen eye for detail and great organizational skills. Works well with customers and team members.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Successfully complete company provided Locate training program and pass all required testing if applicable.
Ability to use company provided equipment and technology to accurately capture data upon locate ticket creation
Track responses via email and input data into company database.
Ability to read maps, compare source data and work orders to determine locate needed.
Use company issued computer to receive, document and email.
Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
Ability to communicate / interact daily with managers and crews, to discuss locate issues.
Interpret job order tickets for accurate location and maintain accuracy of requests.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in Data Entry/clerk/ receptionist/call center
Proficient typing skills
Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets
Proven attention to detail
Proven communication skills
Flexibility
Other duties as assigned
