QA/QC Supervisor
Provide technical support related to Quality Assurance & Quality Control to projects, as assigned. Perform required inspections/verifications, complete necessary documentation/certification, welding program administration, and maintenance of all related documents. The QC Inspector is responsible for assuring a project’s construction activities are performed in accordance with the applicable standards or codes. The QA/QC Inspector is expected to act independently of production influence during the course of his/her duties. The QA/QC Supervisor shall keep the QA/QC Manager or Supervisor informed of pertinent matters related that may have an adverse impact on project quality.
Willing to work on a variety of project assignments at various locations, requiring varying amounts of travel and shifts.
Job Responsibilities
· Assist in setting up necessary document retention system for QA/QC records.
· Understand contract documents (technical items) and their impact on QA/QC responsibilities.
· Assist in the determination of the appropriate NDE, testing, and documentation requirements.
· Review or conduct material, receipt, inspection, and handling.
· Provide technical assistance (QA/QC related mechanical/civil/electrical) as requested by project personnel and management.
· Conduct inspections and documentation review as required to assure elements of QC Plan are implemented as required.
· Assist in scheduling required Post Weld Heat Treatment, Non-Destructive Examination & testing; assure implementation and review results.
· Initiate and track (through resolution) NCRs as required.
· Keep Project Management informed of any Quality related issue that may impact the schedule.
· Complete necessary daily and weekly reports as required.
· Inform the appropriate supervisor of any discrepancy involving quality. If necessary, elevate the situation to a more appropriate level of management.
· Assist in the administration of the welding program as required by Cianbro policy and/or applicable construction codes.
· Support field engineering needs around quality control and assurance.
· Recognize the chain of command and deal with the appropriate level of supervision in matters affecting quality.
· Establish liaison with the client’s Quality Assurance representative.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,295.82 - $78,635.82 per year
