We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to join the Glendale-based Team to provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas including: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting. This is an onsite position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, review and, investigate accounts payable invoices
- Code and input payables into accounts payable system
- Processing of AP, AR, and GL transactions
- Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested
- Generate 1099's and W-2's for clients and employees
- Maintain communication with requesters, suppliers, and vendors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience doing accounts payable preferred
- Analytical and critical problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize work and manage multiple tasks concurrently within demanding deadlines
- Consistency, accuracy, and efficiency with data entry tasks
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, with strong Excel knowledge
- Demonstrated high level of literacy and arithmetic skills
COMPENSATION: $19.00-$21.50
