Role Summary : Provides advanced professional input to complex Client Services assignments / projects within Cigna Payer Solutions.

Responsible for providing client support in the areas of service, maintenance and penetration.

Responds to complex inquiries, solving non-routine problems using independent judgment and discretion, and ensuring client satisfaction with products and service.

Partners with Existing Business Development (EBD) to ensure needs are met and potential problems are averted.

Keeps EBD informed of account status and opportunities for expanded business.

Makes on-site presentations to existing and prospective clients to educate and inform on products.

May be involved in new account installations.

Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals.

Works autonomously, only requiring "expert" level technical support from others.

Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Client Account Support.

This role reports to the Payer Solutions Client Service Operations Manager. Responsibilities :

  • Key owner of the payer service relationship and partner with Existing Business Development (EBD), Retention Specialist (RS) and LifeSOURCE account manager in support of the overall client management.
  • Quarterback for escalated client service issue resolutions - primary intake contact, works with SMEs to gather information, and bring resolution back to the client
  • Leads standard and complex issue resolution, acting as the primary point of contact and coordinating with matrix partners
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations and provide consultative service support with payer service operations staff
  • Develop payer service strategies and execute strategy plans with emphasis on client satisfaction and service adherence
  • Tracks issues, recognizes trends (good and bad) and proactively solves / escalates appropriately
  • Delivers post-implementation audit, reports, and ongoing training as needed
  • Monitors Payer Adherence, develop and drives payer action plans as needed
  • Develop and execute custom client reporting templates (Payer Profile, Service Strategy, Adherence)
  • Develop presentations and conduct onsite and telephonic meetings with payers; provide product, process, and resource tool training to educate and inform as needed
  • Partner with EBD and & Retention Specialist to support growth initiatives
  • Participate in broker meetings / calls in conjunction with EBD Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree desired
  • 3 years of client service experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage, prioritize and work on numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Skilled communicator (open and effective; both written and verbal)
  • Strong team player; able to thrive in a matrix environment; experience collaborating with multiple matrix partners
  • Self-motivated, driven
  • Client facing skills
  • Solid computer skills, including ability to build Powerpoint presentations, and aptitude for learning new programs as needed
  • Periodic client travel required (up to 10%) If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download / 5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 62,600 - 104,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
