The Digital Project Manager is responsible for initiating, planning and executing digital projects with a cool team and an awesome leader. Core to this role is empowering the digital design team to maximize its productivity; manage its design requirements and operational needs.
How you'll make a difference:
- Collaborate with and support Digital Content, User Research and Design teams in delivering high quality user experiences; act as a bridge between the Digital Content, User Research and Design team and the Development and Product Management teams, connecting all groups and making sure inter-dependencies are understood and planned for effectively
- Identify team needs with regards to process, tools, documentation, asset management, etc.
- Implement or drive required changes to make sure UX designers and content writers are working at optimum efficiency.
- Collaborate with Digital Content, User Research and Design team leadership in key project decision-making, including: requirements gathering, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of teams and approval processes
- Bring all the critical pieces together – strategy, business goals, design, execution, technology, and customer needs – to produce amazing experiences for multiple platforms
- Establish project timelines and tasks and manage large projects through all phases of implementation
- Define and create process to receive design requests and prioritize them
- Own the product lifecycle from requirements gathering through production and release
- Interface with internal business partners throughout various departments
- Field incoming project requests and define projects for the Digital Content, User Research and Design team
What you should have:
- A sense of humor
- 5+ years experience working with creative/design teams, understanding how to integrate process with creative minds
- Deep knowledge of 80's sci-fi movies and the ability to quote lines at random
- Experience with Agile development and methodologies
- Thorough understanding of the creative development processes
- Ability to understand complex programs, scope and prioritize projects, define schedules, and work independently
- Know online and mobile technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions. Hands-on expertise with HTML, CSS, Central Agile (Rally), Axure, InVision, DSM, Sketch a plus.
- A driving passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level with customers to improve their health and wellbeing
- CSM/PMP a plus
