Description
The General Administrative Assistant (GAA) is responsible for various duties within the Sales Office once a case sells. Tasks may include – Kit Assembly, co-ordination of monthly reports and various other duties associated with new business and renewals. The GAA works closely with Client Managers (CM), Client Service Specialists (CSS), New Business Managers (NBM) and internal matrix partners to ensure quality customer service is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Print, assemble and ship kit orders used in enrollment meetings
- Manage the kit process and meet turnaround times
- Co-ordinate preparation of monthly reports for Client Managers including report formatting, printing, binding, shipping and saving electronic copies
- Proactive communication with internal and external customers to facilitate workflow
- Develop and build relationship with matrix partners
- May work on various projects within the sales office
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience may substitute in lieu of degree
- Health insurance background with general understanding of the overall sales process preferred
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Detail oriented with exceptional follow-up skills
- Ability to work in a production-like, fast paced environment and adapt quickly to change
- Strong organization skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Manage, prioritize and work on numerous projects at one time.
- Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure while anticipating the needs of the customer and/or business partner and understanding the consequences of actions.
- Strong computer based technical skills including Outlook, Excel and Word and internet/web navigation
