What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst position at Cimarron Software?
Cimarron is seeking a Foreign Technology Engineering Analyst to support the US Air Force’s National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) in Dayton, OH. In this position, you will join a team that is responsible for analyzing and assessing foreign technical capabilities and intentions. The selected candidate for this position will play a vital role in evaluating and understanding foreign technologies, providing critical insights to support decision-makers.
Key Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and assessment of foreign technologies, including hardware, software, and systems, to evaluate capabilities, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in foreign technologies, collecting technical intelligence through open-source research, collaboration with intelligence agencies, and other relevant channels.
- Work closely with engineers, intelligence analysts, and interdisciplinary teams to integrate technology assessments into a comprehensive intelligence picture.
- Evaluate potential risks associated with the adoption or adaptation of foreign technologies, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Generate clear and concise technical reports and briefings, communicating findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- 5 or more years of related experience.
- Knowledge of a broad range of foreign technologies, including but not limited to hardware, software, telecommunications, and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
