What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Cimarron Software?
Cimarron is seeking a Program Manager to support our Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) program at Kennedy Space Center Florida. This position will require remote and onsite support as needed. The Program Manager will interact with our customer to understand staffing needs, work with our HR team to find the right talent and build a workforce and provide leadership to employees.
Key Duties:
- Primary interface with key customer stakeholders including program management, supplier management, and functional leaders.
- Support corporate contract proposal activities while serving as the principle subject matter expert on management process proposal content.
- Provide financial data and contract information support as required.
- Work closely with customer to ensure contract success.
- Work closely with Cimarron HR to hire and retain employees.
- Perform all aspects of employee management including salary administration, performance reviews, leave administration/approval, interviewing, hiring, and correction/dismissal of employees when required.
- Work with subordinate managers to ensure they perform all aspects of employee management for their staff and that it is performed in a manner consistent with company policies and processes.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

- Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
- Ability to obtain a US Security clearance.
- Experience reviewing and assisting in setting and achieving company program specific operational goals and strategy.
- Ability to interface with executive and senior level customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to resolve difficult customer issues.
- Proactive management style and ability to operate autonomously.
