Position Summary:
The Electrical Foreman provides site leadership and manages the day-to-day crews and activities on utility scale solar projects. The employee facilitates project planning and is responsible for ensuring that a safe, quality, and timely product is delivered. The Electrical Foreman will also be accountable for maintaining company vehicle, equipment, and tools in good working condition. The position requires great communication skills, analytical thinking, problem solving abilities, and knowledge of both AC and DC electrical work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Cultivate safety as a core value throughout the company, supporting the corporate safety program and personnel.
- Possesses working knowledge of leadership and management skill.
- Capable of leading and training lower skilled employees in safe and productive work procedures.
- Conduct pre-job safety briefings.
- Generate job hazard analysis forms daily or per task change.
- Receive, store, and protect project material and equipment, including owner furnished items; documenting and reporting any shortages and damages immediately.
- Oversee utilization of equipment assigned to project facility.
- Manage the successful completion of all medium voltage and underground installations from start to finish.
- Understands how to accurately identify (phase) medium voltage cable and verify continuity utilizing a voltmeter.
- Understand sloping and shoring requirements for trench operations.
- Accurately track and report daily progress to General Foreman.
- Capable of performing insulation resistance testing on cable before and after installation.
- Able to properly inspect rubber goods and PPE.
- Capable of testing and classifying soil.
- Possess knowledge of tools for terminating MV cable.
- Must be willing to travel and stay overnight at various job postings.
- Provide support and assistance to other Cinterra divisions as needed.
- Support and encourage safety as a core value throughout the duration of the project.
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor and ensure all project personnel act professional.
- Handle special assignments and other duties as requested by leadership.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; advanced education (preferred).
- Three or more years of construction management and/or electrical experience (preferred).
- Familiar with OSHA regulations (required), OSHA training and certifications (preferred).
- Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to work long and/or extended hours to include weekends, as needed, with ability to travel frequently and stay overnight.
- Familiar with local codes, AHJ standards, and NEC code.
- Requires a working knowledge of electrical, including equipment utilized.
- Understands how to read and interpret, plans, and specifications.
- Effective time management skills understand how to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
- Must be able to endure the elements.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment (up to 50 pounds or more).
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
- Endurance to perform physical tasks throughout the workday, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Agility and flexibility to navigate construction sites and access work areas, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
- Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, and tunnels.
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
