Grant Program Manager

General Description 

The Program Manager reports to the Director of Engineering and Construction and is the direct interface between government grant manager(s) and the Cirba Solutions team. This includes ensuring all requirements, internally and externally are met including coordinating resources, planning, tracking, reporting, and monitoring program activities. The role assures that the overall program requirements are met in accordance with DOE contract guidelines and with an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Formulate a deliverables program
• Assign required internal and external resources to the program
• Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments to track progress to plan and provide accurate progress updates to DOE, in specific earnt value of work completed and forecasted, forecasted future financial outflows for financial year planning
• Compile regular (monthly, quarterly, yearly) progress reports and portfolio updates as may be required by the DOE or Cirba Solutions 
• Drive integration and coordination of other functional inputs required for the development of the tracking and progress reporting, collaborating, and establishing an effective cross functional team.
• Work with appropriate staff to implement intern program, and comprehensive work study programs working with HBCU and local colleges, trade schools, and universities
• Manage Equity plan requirements, tracking, and reporting
• Ensure all KPI’s are met with detailed explanation for any deviations from plan
• Primary Point of Contact/interface with DOE
• All other duties as assigned

Education and Training Requirements 

• 5 Years of Project Management or similar experience
• BS/BA Preferred
