Job Description Overview: Creative Coordinator
I. Position Mission |
The role of the Creative Project Coordinator is to work alongside Creative Leadership to oversee the department’s workflow and assign incoming projects to members of the Creative team based on skill level, priority, and current workload. The Creative Project Coordinator will serve as an interim project manager in Art Director’s absence. As part of the Creative Team, the Creative Project Coordinator will also take on a variety of asks themselves from light design work to larger time intensive projects. |

Working Environment and Physical Demands | Typical office environment. Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires a normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports and answer the phone. |

III. Tasks description – Essential Duties and Responsibilities: |
Image Creation: 40% of position responsibility
Internal Customer Support and Process Improvement: 30% of position responsibility
Project Management: 30% of position responsibility
· Assist team in troubleshooting any issues that may be encountered prior to starting work. |

V. Skills, Intellectual Demands and Job Requirements: |
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: · Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or similar field or equivalent experience · 3 years of experience in Prepress or the Design Field · Proven ability to act independently, exercise judgment and influence people to take appropriate actions · Excellent attention to detail and follow through with communication and a sense of urgency for deadlines · Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure. · Requires public contact and excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to solving practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. · Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients, customers and the general public.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
· Demonstrate superior knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Prepress techniques · Demonstration of knowledge or ability to learn remaining Adobe Suite Apps such as InDesign & Illustrator Compensation: $48,800 - $60,000 |
