Our combined 407,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities across the United States house over 88 grand and large format digital printers, custom automated finishing equipment, and coating capabilities to produce printed recyclable materials up to 16 ft. wide. Our prepress department processes more than 20,000 files per day with the aid of proprietary software automation tools. We operate around-the-clock, 7 days a week to deliver extraordinary customer service, and print over 431 million square feet of material annually. We specialize in industry leading innovations accompanied by World Class service.

 

 

Job Description Overview:  Creative Coordinator

 

 

I. Position Mission

The role of the Creative Project Coordinator is to work alongside Creative Leadership to oversee the department’s workflow and assign incoming projects to members of the Creative team based on skill level, priority, and current workload. The Creative Project Coordinator will serve as an interim project manager in Art Director’s absence. As part of the Creative Team, the Creative Project Coordinator will also take on a variety of asks themselves from light design work to larger time intensive projects.

Working Environment  and Physical Demands

Typical office environment. Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.  Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.  Requires a normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports and answer the phone.

 

FLSA Status

This is a full-time position requiring consistent dependable attendance.  This position is exempt from overtime.   

 

 

 

III. Tasks description – Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Image Creation: 40% of position responsibility

  • Assist with execution of Creative Services projects, including but not limited to photography, template creation, emails, social assets, blog imagery
  • Monitor and track applicable data relevant to imagery requests, Homepage heros, promo blocks, email heros, blog content, etc. Suggest improvements based on collected data.

 

Internal Customer Support and Process Improvement: 30% of position responsibility

  • Maintain tracking system to monitor time creative team spends on projects to ensure appropriate allocation of time and resources of art creation services.
  • Sit in on weekly Creative traffic calls and relevant kick-off meetings to ensure that jobs and tasks are assigned appropriately and continue to move through workflow.
  • Maintain an updated asset management system, and organization of internal servers

 

Project Management: 30% of position responsibility

  • Prioritize and assign projects from other departments such as Creative, Content, Production and Marketing to members of the Creative team based on skill level, priority, and current workload.
  • Monitor and respond to incoming creative requests. Be able to answer status updates on any active project in workflow.

·      Assist team in troubleshooting any issues that may be encountered prior to starting work.

 

 

IV. Additional Task and Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Art Director on special projects as needed

 

V. Skills, Intellectual Demands and Job Requirements:

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·         Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or similar field or equivalent experience

·         3 years of experience in Prepress or the Design Field

·         Proven ability to act independently, exercise judgment and influence people to take appropriate actions

·         Excellent attention to detail and follow through with communication and a sense of urgency for deadlines

·         Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure. 

·         Requires public contact and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Maintain a balance of speed and accuracy with the ability to quickly pivot as needs and priorities change on a continual basis.

·         Ability to solving practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

·         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients, customers and the general public.

  • Ability and desire to work leading up to and during critical holiday marketing days: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc. 

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Ability to train, mentor and coach associates and new hires
  • Ability to motivate others to meet the demands of the department.

·         Demonstrate superior knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Prepress techniques

·         Demonstration of knowledge or ability to learn remaining Adobe Suite Apps such as InDesign & Illustrator

 Compensation: $48,800 - $60,000
