Supply Chain Analyst

Position Overview:

The Supply Chain Analyst primary responsibilities are to develop effective pricing strategies and comprehensive data analytics and stay current on commodity prices within the industry. You will be responsible for assuring the accuracy and profitability of all formula pricing. In addition, you will analyze operations data to ensure production is operating in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities, Skills and Experience:

• Development of product pricing plans
• Works with the Sales team to create and maintain pricing agreement documents
• Provide regular analysis regarding sales and pricing performance to management
• Conduct detailed analysis to support strategic pricing initiatives
• Develop and maintain contract database to monitor key dates for renewals and repricing, as well as remaining contracted volumes
• Prepare regular reports on production and shipping metrics
• Develop understanding of ERP (Order Time) system and reporting
• As a result of all analyses, recommend ongoing improvements and enhancements to processes to improve future results
• Collaborates with department heads to focus on necessary operational issues
• Analyze longer-term financial trends to better understand ongoing plant performance
• Monthly review of raw material pricing trends; analyzing performance
• Monthly productivity evaluation, labor incurred versus output produced
• Responsible for quarterly review and sign off on pricing data by operations heads
• Proficient in a fast paced, lean, manufacturing environment
• Must possess strong analytical and advanced business acumen
• This position requires a very high degree of professionalism and discretion, as well as the ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong decision-making skills (e.g., problem definition, data analysis, hypothesis testing, asking for input)
• Facilitates cross-functional communication across departments to optimize collaborative effort
• Ability to work independently to complete time sensitive projects with internal and external deadlines
• Experience in operational and manufacturing analytics
• Must be self-directed, motivated, and possess excellent judgment and discretion; can partner and work effectively with other teams
• Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions without specific step-by-step instructions
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite use including advanced Excel formula knowledge

• Finance & Accounting Occupations: 2 years (Preferred)
