Brand team at Circle:
The brand team at Circle was established in 2016 when our “brand book” was a logo and 5 colors. Over the years, we’ve defined and evolved Circle’s visual language, launched thousands of iterations of circle.com, and created identities such as Centre, USDC, Circle Invest, Circle Pay (our legacy consumer app) and the new Circle brand, launched in Spring 2020. Today, the team is part of Circle’s marketing organization and supports our peers across demand generation, product marketing and content. We operate as the in-house creative powerhouse, responsible for developing system design and powerful brand expressions across paid campaigns, website marketing, events, social media, investor relations, employer brand, communications, and design support for brands like Centre and SeedInvest, while guiding execution with agencies and across the entire company.
As a Copywriter on Circle’s brand team, you will write a wide range of materials supporting a growing business on the cutting edge of finance and technology. From events to digital and internal communications, you’ll quickly have your hands in initiatives that reach across the whole company. You’ll be a member of the broader marketing organization, reporting to the Sr Copywriter.
What you'll work on:
- Write copy supporting events and conferences, social media, customer emails and more.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and contribute to go-to-market strategies supporting Circle’s innovative suite of products and solutions.
- Help implement Circle’s brand voice across all deliverables.
- Come up with your own ideas to support Circle initiatives.

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:
- Bachelor’s in English, Journalism or Creative Writing and a strong portfolio (would consider tech or finance-based backgrounds if your portfolio shows you can write)
- Basic knowledge of technology, finance, software or B2B marketing
- 2 years of experience writing for digital marketing channels and/or events
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack and Apple MacOS preferred
