POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
Key responsibilities:
Build a high-performing team which reduces engineering time in project execution by 50%
Develop bench strength of 2 screw team with technology depth Collaborate with Application Engineering & Project Managers to reduce ETO lead time.
Principal Activities
Immediate Performance Objectives
- Efficient resource management/allocation to support ETOs
- Implement visual management of project progress

- Transform culture. Results-oriented
- Transition from reactive to proactive planning
- Formal professional development of 2 screw team
Primary Responsibilities
- Rationalize multiple design methods: Warren, Houttuin, Tushaco in 2 screw. Lost tribal knowledge
- Eliminate team capability gaps. Limited understanding of factors influencing product performance
- Support multiple production sites, multiple ERP systems,
- Reduce/eliminate redundant work in creating engineering BOM
- Collaborate to reduce lack of operational excellence leading & continuous firefighting to meet customer deadlines
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years, of which minimum 5 as manager
- Lean sigma certification a plus
- BSME is a must
- MBA is a plus
Qualifications
Language Capabilities
- English is a must
- German desired
Technical Requirements
- Design methods, DFSS
- Rotating equipment: common failure modes and resolutions
