What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saucier position at Circus Circus Las Vegas?
Specific Job Functions:
- Prepare all soups, sauces, and specials for each outlet; weigh, measure, slice, dice, and chop products needed for a recipe.
- Apportion food items for each outlet in accordance with quality control standards.
- Maintain production records and recipes.
- Utilize and prepare leftover or excess food product in an effort to minimize waste.
- Consistently maintain a clean and orderly work area while adhering to sanitation and safety policies and procedures.
- Other job related duties as assigned
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Must understand Health Department regulations and fully comply with sanitation standards.
- Must be able to properly use a thermometer.
- Must have knowledge of proper cooking temperatures and appropriate corrective actions for all foods.
- Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- High School Education or equivalent required.
