Sales Manager – Resident Shows Division (RSD)
Full-Time Position
Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is looking for our next Sales Manager to support our Resident Shows in Las Vegas. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, Resident Shows Division, the Sales Manager will be responsible for the In-Market & International Sales initiatives. The main objective for this position is to ensure target goals are met through various strategies using an innovative mindset. To be successful in this role, one must be organized, ambitious and possess a natural ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships.
In this pivotal role, the In-Market & International Sales Manager will:
· Consistently meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual Sales revenue goals supporting all RSD shows, including Mystère, “O”, KA, LOVE, MJ One, Mad Apple and Blue Man Group.
· Manage key partnerships, for all Sales channels including third-party accounts, online re-sellers, international wholesalers, tour operators and in-market direct partners;
· Work closely and maintain strong relationships with key partnerships such as MGM Resorts International and Treasure Island on their owned Sales contracts;
· Contract, onboard and maintain partnerships with all Sales partners, along with facilitating pricing/commission structures and promotional offers;
· Work closely with internal and external teams to develop and execute revenue-generating programs while protecting the pricing and brand integrity;
· Maintain lines of communication with partner, ticketing and customer service practices, including operational systems, inventory management, promotional programming and reporting in effort to identify shortcomings and recommend solutions to maximize efficiencies;
· Execute training programs to help educate and motivate ticket influencers and sellers to keep all shows top of mind to elevate their Sales performance;
· Participate in trade shows and industry network events to procure partner contracts and promote brand awareness;
· Create detailed monthly and quarterly performance reports and evaluations for key partners;
· Work closely with internal departments to coordinate all promotional materials needed;
· Conduct ongoing sales calls/visits and facilitated complimentary invites;
· Audit broker and partner websites from a Marketing and Sales perspective;
· Maintain filing systems and databases to track sales histories, contact information, profile data, contracts and any other partner related communications;
· Work closely with each of our key partners to educate, promote, market and manage expectations through clear, concise communication;
· Perform all other duties as assigned by Senior Sales Manager, Resident Shows Division.
Ideally, you will have:
· A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing/Sales, Business or Communications;
· At least 4 years of previous experience in Sales/Marketing within the hospitality industry, inclusive of entertainment and attractions, meetings & events, travel trade, destination management organization marketing, hotels, etc.;
· Strong understanding of ticketing software(s) and CRM(s), such as Archtics, Outbox ticketing, NLIVEN, Ticketmaster and/or Salesforce;
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.);
· Excellent written and oral communication; Fluency in English;
· Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task;
· The drive to create and maintain strong professional relationships internally and externally;
· The availability to flex hours for the occasional evening or weekend event;
· Ability to create and maintain solid business relationships both internally and externally that promote an encouraging, positive and productive work environment;
· Excellent negotiation and presentation skills;
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
· Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor;
· The flexibility for light travel;
· Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I-9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) verifying one’s identity and work authorization;
