What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Rep-Supply position at CIS?
The Inside Parts Sales Rep works daily with customers and/or contractors, as well as the CIS business development staff to provide service/support for all
HVAC parts needs.
Responsibilities
- Prepares cost estimates and proposals for heating, ventilating and air conditioning products
- Prepares/releases orders for products to manufacturers
- Reviews manufacturers acknowledgements for accuracy
- Corrects orders as required
- Coordinate equipment size and delivery requirements with customers
- Requires customer communications and coordination in all aspects
- Manufacturer coordination with respect to product availability, options and pricing
- Assists on pulling orders from warehouse if needed
- Abides by all CIS and OSHA safety regulations at all times
- Drives defensively and obeys all traffic laws including CIS safe driver policy (avoids all confrontational driving situations)
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree and/or minimum of 3 years’ experience selling and/or applying HVAC equipment
- Highly detail oriented
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate with Microsoft applications
- Occasional travel for training purposes
Working Conditions
Environment:
- Alcohol and Drug-free
- Largely indoors, but some outdoor exposure to cold and heat may be required
Physical Requirements:
- Routine sitting, lifting, bending, and kneeling
- Ability to lift 50lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor
- Ability to climb ladders and perform job duties at heights
