The XDR Incubation TSA (Technical Solutions Architect) at Cisco is part of an elite technical team responsible for driving the success of our Cisco's XDR solution. This is a consultative technical position that supports the Cisco Security Sales organization by working directly with engineering teams, product managers, marketing, and others to build a focused go to market XDR product along with supporting Cisco security products.

Responsibilities include presenting, demonstrating and architecting solutions to tackle the cyber security needs of some of the most influential companies. You have a startup mentality and focus to 'get things done' to sustain our XDR lines of business - You are a self-starter, will act as an industry domain professional, and strive to help Cisco make customers for life. You may at times be the escalation point for Cisco security sales experts as the expert of experts.
- Act as the highest field escalation resource for the TSA team and potential prospects for technical product questions, trials, and pre-sale customer issues during the sales cycle
- You will deliver technical product presentations along with sales reps via web conferencing or in the field to prospective C-level audience / decision makers
- Provide essential input and responses to RFIs (Request for Information) / RFPs (Request for Proposal)
- Assist with delivery and GTM of new XDR product features along with supporting technologies like Endpoint Detection and Response, Network Detection and Response and Email Detection and Response
- Assist in the delivery of technical training modules to new team representatives including ongoing training to the sales/partner teams
- Evangelize and enable the wider Cisco TSA and Channel Partner TSA teams in region
- Work directly with Product Management and Engineering teams as a liaison to accounts around technical product requirements and to help provide customer feedback with the goal of enabling continuous improvement of Cisco XDR solutions
- Effectively interact with internal engineering teams to scope out and provide solutions to complex technical issues for highly visible account opportunities
- Travel throughout the region to visit prospective customers
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/Information Systems or equivalent
- 10 years of technical experience in a support or sales engineer, network operations support, email administration, and/or endpoint security.
- 7 years of enterprise Pre-Sales experience working directly with Security Operations teams utilizing network, endpoint, or cloud security products in a customer-facing role.
- Deep understanding and familiarity with other competing market-leading XDR, NDR (Network Detection & Response), EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) (Endpoint Detection & Response) and Email DR products and solutions.
- Currently utilize available resources to overcome challenges
- Show a commitment to timely communication and good customer service.
- Organized and have a process-orientated approach to capitalize on the market opportunity.
- Comprehensive understanding of security operations, incident response, threat hunting including but not limited to the following - Networking, Systems, Endpoint Operating Systems and Email, with a focus on security
- Solid understanding of LAN and WAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching, routing, and security.
- Strong Understand of Endpoint Security and how it impacts customers business operation.
- Understanding of how email works, strengths, weaknesses, and how to properly secure the workflow.
- Love and passion for helping customers and delivering satisfaction even when faced with difficult customers.
- A positive demeanor and friendly outgoing personality.
- Strong written and email etiquette skills.
- Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information in user-friendly language.
- Ability to prioritize and work responsibly with or without direct supervision.
- Unrelenting passion for security.
Desired / Good to Have
- In-depth knowledge of Incident Response methodologies, Security Operations and Threat Hunting, Security Analyst Workflows and Playbooks.
- Demonstrable experience with scripting languages such as Python, and API (Application Programming Interfaces) frameworks such as REST / SOAP.
- System Architect and solution integration experience of AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, Google Cloud beneficial.
- Solid understanding of various endpoint operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
- Experience selling governance and compliance solutions a plus.
- Strong network and endpoint security skills that would include real world experience with Crowdstrike, Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft, Proofpoint, SentinalOne, NDR products
- Advanced level network technology certifications (e.g., CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), CCSP, JNCIE etc.).
