The Cash and Trade Proc Rep 3 is an entry level role responsible for processing varied cash & trade operation tasks in ACH in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to perform multiple processing activities of limited complexity in a fast-paced environment, while focusing on quality, details and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Apply detailed processing knowledge to deliver efficient customer service that meets quality standards
- Perform limited complexity transaction duties / Cash & Trade Operation tasks under general supervision
- Complete processing activities related to compliance and control
- Assist new team members with procedural tasks
- Contact internal and external customers on a frequent basis
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Pass basic induction and operations training
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some college Preferred.

ACH Processing Operator
Business Overview
This position is responsible for all ACH corporate financial transactions and their proofs. Identify research and resolve operational exceptions. Understands all ACH applications. Position requires willingness to work flexible schedule and to step in when needed.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Responsible for the processing of ACH financial transactions and working exception and return items. Respond to client escalations when necessary
- Review, respond, and investigate to all inquiries
- Responsible for the execution of ACH files needing processing and be able to research and resolve differences.
- Process electronic payment files received from customers, the Federal Reserve Bank or the Electronic Payments Network
- Perform online monitoring of electronic file collection to ensure timely distribution and exceptions resolution
- Resolve any ACH file exceptions such as invalid format
- Reconcile clearing house settlement. document all outstanding production issues on shift turnover
- Execute file-processing programs
- Contribute to process improvements after initial training phase completed
- Assist with meeting department productivity and quality goals
- Assist with training initiatives as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years Operations or Data Center experience
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Problem solver and ability to overcome obstacles to achieve results
- Resourceful in the completion of projects, effective at multi-tasking
- Ability to escalate potential issues to supervisor
- Previous experience working in a team with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with communicating with management and peers at all levels.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to function under pressure while meeting demanding work deadlines
- Knowledge and understanding of bank policies, procedures, and Federal regulations
- Understanding of basic accounting processes and account reconciliation.
