What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller position at Citizens Bank?
Description
If you’re a great listener who enjoys meeting new people and strengthening relationships, you could be #MadeReady to be a Teller. Being a Teller is about more than handling transactions — it’s about cultivating relationships. You'll get to know your customers — who they are, what they need, what’s top of mind for them. Whether you’re processing transactions or collaborating with your branch team to meet a customer’s needs, you’ll provide a memorable, meaningful experience to every customer, every day.
Citizens entered into an agreement to acquire 80 east coast branches and the national online deposit business from HSBC. This transaction – which expected to close in the first quarter of 2022 – provides us with an attractive entry into the important New York City Metro, Washington D.C. and Southeast Florida markets. It serves as a springboard for our consumer national expansion strategy.
What you'll do:
Talk with customers to understand the purpose of their visit
Make customers feel cared for while you process transactions
Comply with all financial policies and procedures, state and local laws and regulations
Bring your positive energy and confidence every day
What you'll get:
Meaningful work – Help customers with important financial decisions that impact their lives like building a business, buying a house, paying for school or helping them realize their long-term financial goals
Commitment to community – Participate in volunteer activities and have your donations to eligible nonprofits matched dollar-for-dollar
Recognition & reward – See your hard work rewarded with promotion, growth and new opportunities
Training & development –You’ll grow your career through training, coaching, career planning and development that will enable you to branch off in any direction your talents and interests take you
