The Division of Solid Waste Management is dedicated to ensuring the safe, environmentally responsible, and secure disposal of solid waste for Citrus County residents and businesses. Our services encompass solid waste disposal, recycling, hazardous waste collection, and county-wide litter removal.
As a Solid Waste Technician I, you will provide customer service at the Citrus County Landfill, issue tickets and receipts, categorize waste types and inspect loads of waste. Your schedule for this full-time position will be 5 – 8-hour days. Days worked range from Monday through Saturday. Hours worked range between 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM.
