Field Used Car Buyer

As a part of our continued growth, LKQ is seeking a Car Buyer/Marketing Events to join our team! You will be responsible for managing the inbound flow of products to support the company's sales objectives. To excel in this position, you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, and be very organized in tasks. The ideal candidate needs to be very goal orientated and willing to work at a breakneck pace while maintaining the quality and accuracy set forth in the job expectations. Essential Job Duties:

• Prepare, edit, scan, and submit purchase orders to vendors in a timely fashion in accordance with company targets and goals. 
• Monitor vendor back-orders and source products from alternate vendors, as necessary. 
• Work with branch locations to ensure company goals are met with respect to the company's receiving and put-away goals. 
• Monitor key data elements and notify appropriate personnel if discrepancies/anomalies are observed. 
• Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ's quality improvement system. 
• Responsible for managing inbound flow of product to support company's sales objectives. 
• Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ's quality improvement system. 
• Will require Traveling to different locations 
• Attend and promote special events. 
• Market and advertise. 
• Prospect new accounts  
• Attend auction sales. 
• Weekends required. 
• Assumes other duties as assigned
