What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secretary- Public Works Programming position at CITY OF BRISTOL?
The City of Bristol, Virginia has an immediate opening for the position of Secretary with our Parks and Recreation Programming department. This position works under the direct supervision of the Parks and Recreation Superintendent and provides a variety of clerical and administrative support for the Parks and Recreation Superintendent and support staff.
Duties include managing the department’s electronic and physical files. Maintaining financial and other records for the different areas of the department and preparing reports using those records. Assisting with administration of department budget and payroll, organizing documentation and mail sent to the office. Scheduling shifts for different positions and events in the department.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of three (3) years office experience in a related field preferred. Accounting skills preferred.
