About the Position:
- Assist with the coordination of plans, specifications, plan review, and monitoring construction activities.
- Obtain and distribute required information to facilitate design and construction.
- Plan and coordinate information from oversight committees and inform relevant departments about the status of projects.
- Coordinate between design professionals and city departments the status of proposed and under construction projects.
- Assist the project manager with reviewing construction contracts, professional services contracts, and AIA documents. Understands state statutes and city ordinances as they relate to bidding projects and recommends changes in the interest of all parties.

- Daily schedule of Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:30 and Fridays 7:30-11:30.
- Work both remotely and in office as directed by the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 4 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have basic construction knowledge and building construction experience is required.
- Ability to read, interpret plans, and communicate effectively with professional engineers and architects. Effective written communication is necessary and technical writing is preferred.
- Required to effectively use various types of measuring tools, including electronic measuring equipment.
- Required to utilize personal vehicle (mileage is reimbursed).
- Occasionally required to work beyond normal scheduled work hours.
- Must be computer proficient specifically in Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Adobe.
- Must have good listening and communication skills and the ability to take information and relay it to the correct personnel.
- Must be timely, responsive, and flexible, able to react to changes that may arise during commercial construction projects.
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the City’s insurance carrier.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
