What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Groundskeeper position at City of Florence?

High school diploma or GED- Valid South Carolina driver's license
The Parks Groundkeeper must be able to perform general grounds maintenance activities at City facilities and properties including, but not limited to, mowing, weeding, mulching, weed eating, pruning, raking, and cleaning. Must be able to clean in and around park areas, streets, and curbsides to clear away accumulated debris and collect refuse and trash from City facilities and properties. Must be able to assemble, install and/or make repairs to recreational equipment as necessary. Must be able to operate mowers, tractor, utility trucks, hand and power tools, and similar equipment as needed to accomplish assigned duties and tasks. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold, rain, noise, wind, and pollen. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
