The City of Peoria Parks and Recreation Department is seeking individuals for several Groundskeeper positions to assist the neighborhood parks, large community parks and the Peoria Sports Complex (home to the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres). Responsibilities include but are not limited to, performing a variety of entry-level tasks by cleaning and maintaining athletic fields, grounds, facilities and park amenities using a variety of hand tools and equipment.
As well as being a results-oriented person, the ideal candidate will also be:
- Interested in learning about parks and sports field grounds keeping and enjoy being outdoors
- Interested in a flexible part-time schedule with an estimated 18-30 hours per week
- Open to schedules that vary depending on assignment and could include nights and weekends.
