*Job Overview*
As a Police Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining law and order within the community. You will be responsible for ensuring public safety, enforcing laws, and protecting citizens from harm.
*Responsibilities*
- Conduct patrols to maintain a visible presence and prevent crime
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents
- Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and interview witnesses
- Arrest suspects and prepare reports for criminal cases
- Provide assistance to the public during emergencies or distress situations
- Engage in community policing initiatives to build trust and cooperation within the community
*Requirements*
- Strong knowledge of law enforcement procedures and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle demanding situations
- 1 year prior police officer experience - currently employeed as a sworn law enforcement officer or no more than 2 year seperation from previous department.
- Must be able to provide current law enforcement certification from the state employeed.
- Experience in conflict management, criminal investigation, report writing, surveillance, and leadership is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $40.47 per hour
