Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes
• Assist with patient assessments and provide appropriate nursing interventions
• Perform basic life support measures in emergency situations
• Access and maintain intravenous (IV) lines as needed, RN only
• Provide patient/family education on various health topics
• Practices nursing with respect for individual, cultural, and spiritual differences
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
• Communicates effectively and in accordance with agency requirements
• Supervises applicable home care team members as delegated by RN Case Manager
  
  

Requirements

• Valid LPN or RN license in Minnesota
• Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Ability to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, resourceful, problem solver and prioritization skills are helpful
